Summary

Amanda is a specialist in immigration, extradition, criminal injuries compensation, and immigration-related crime. She has advised and appeared in numerous immigration matters in the Court of Appeal, Administrative Court on appals, judicial review and injunctions.

She deals with asylum cases, particularly in relation to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia and Saudi Arabia. All entry clearance work, including work permits, students, visitors, and family reunion.

She deals with fresh claims in relation to human rights and asylum, after an initial appeal has been exhausted. Deportation appeals in relation to criminal convictions or alleged terrorist connections. Breaches of policy and legitimate expectation in immigration law.
