New Tenants
After 4 years of careful expansion, chambers continues to attract like minded individuals with successful practices. Our members have their own individual practices, relying on their excellence in written and oral advocacy to ensure they are continually instructed. We are looking for barristers who share our outlook and ambition. We welcome applications from established practitioners in criminal, extradition and immigration law. There are wonderful opportunities here for senior juniors and junior silks. They will be free to develop, unrestrained by hierarchies, to acquire a capital stake in a growing business, and to flourish, as barristers should, as individuals.
Members pay 14% of gross income to chambers. This sum includes rent, which is paid to the pension funds of the members who have already taken up their entitlement to purchase 5% of the freehold. Every new and existing member will have the opportunity to purchase 5% of the freehold in the future, either directly or through a pension fund. It is possible that, at our current rate of growth, and in the light of the appreciation in the value of this building since it was acquired in 2004, we shall seek to buy a second building of similar size in the next few years, or indeed sell and move to a larger freehold property.
Applications can be made in writing or by e-mail and will be handled in the strictest confidence. Interested applicants are more than welcome to have an informal chat with the Head of Chambers and/or Senior Clerk. Please see our “Contact Us” page for contact details.
